CALLE MUSIC - Is looking for a couple of interns to assist us here in the promotion and handling of our talent. While the internships are unpaid, I can promise that you will learn. Mr. Hernandez, is perfectly capable of making his own coffee and running his own errands. Interns will be doing real work that has tangible results.
To that end;
Interns will contact Djs, clubs, radio stations, record pools, event promoters, record stores and distributors directly. Interns will be responsible for finding what, if anything, such stores and distributors, Djs, clubs, record pools need in the way of product and what, if anything, we can do to assist sales or promotions.
However, you will not be doing sales. All sales promotions are handled by third party contractors and we have no wish to disturb our existing relationships.
Interns will be responsible for mailing any required packages to stores, radio stations, mix shows, clubs, record pools, promoters and/or distributors. Interns will also be responsible for any requisite follow up not directly handled by me.
Interns will work directly with Mr. Hernandez and will coordinate all projects through him. While we allow interns freedom in the office (I do not sit over their desks or anything like that), nothing comes in or goes out without Mike's approval.
Hours are flexible and there is no dress code. However, if there is to be an in-office meeting we will notify the students verbally and they will need to look professional on that day.
We currently license music to video games, commercials (TV and film), restaurants and satellite networks, as well as promote and market music commercially to the public.
Requirements:
Interns must speak fluent English. Spanish is a plus.
Interns must be computer literate with at least MS Word, Internet access and email.
Interns must be willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
